Here at Telenav, we’ve been hard at work improving Scout and today, I’m happy to let you know that we have some great news share with you!
Available today in the AppStore, we’ve released a new version of Scout for iPhone with two brand new features designed to help you better discover and explore the world around you.
We would love it if you checked it out HERE and let us know what you think!
The first new feature we’ve added in the updated Scout for iPhones is our Always There Navigation.
With Always There Navigation, you will never have to worry about losing Scout navigation because of poor cell coverage. With just a download, Always There Navigation is available on your iPhone by U.S. region – Western, Central, or Eastern. So regardless if you’re traveling through hills, mountains, or anywhere else life takes you, Scout will always be available. Scout on, friends!
Also, in the new update for Scout, our team focused on making searching and getting to your most important destinations easier while on the go. That’s why also new to Scout is Speech Recognition. With it, anyone can, just with their voice, perform tasks like start a route to home or work or search for places near you
With Speech Recognition on Scout for iPhone you can say things like:
- “Drive home”
- “Find Starbucks”
- “Find Pizza”
- “Drive to cross streets of Hollywood and Vine.”
The updated Scout for iPhone is available today in the AppStore. The free version includes speech recognition. The paid version is $9.99/year, and gives you access to Always There Navigation, as well as all of our other premium features, like voice guidance and automatic rerouting.
Want to try out the updated Scout for iPhone? Right now, we’re offering a 30-day free trial of the paid version to new customers. After the trial, if you decide you’d like to stick to the free version, that’s no problem. You’ll still have access to our new Speech Recognition and visual turn-by-turn navigation.
