Getting Ready for Waypoint 2013

waypoint 2013 discover the future of personalized navigation

Waypoint 2013 is almost here! On Monday, April 15, we host a group of influential tech journalists and bloggers from across the country for a 2-day event in San Francisco. Waypoint is a valuable opportunity for Telenav and Scout to interact with the people who write on new products; the guys who you read to keep up-to-date on the coolest new products and services. It also gives us the chance to share our Scout roadmap for the coming year and get feedback on the app and our vision.

Though Waypoint is an exclusive, media-only program, you can still participate in several ways:

  • Follow the attendees by subscribing to our Waypoint 2013 Twitter List.
  • Search for the official hashtag #Waypoint2013 for real-time updates and follow @Scout on Twitter
  • Watch and join the live stream of our automotive panel on Tuesday, April 16 at 12:30pm PT. You can follow us on USTREAM to get notified about the live stream.

Check out a video summary of last year’s conference:

Testimonials from past Waypoint participants:

What I do appreciate about this event is the information that we share and discuss is really listened to and taken into consideration.” Antonio Wells (AndroidTapp.com)

What’s cool is that Telenav is growing every year in the way that they develop the project and the way they develop the app, so it’s been fun to see the company grow and push out from going beyond navigation—from point A to point B—to also helping you discover new things, fun things in your area or new cities you are traveling to.” Nan Palermo (Blackberrycool.com)

“It’s nice to be able to use our knowledge that we use every day writing on an actual product.” Chris Burns (AndroidCommunity.com and Slashgear.com)

It’s good for me to be able to speak my part, to say to the designers and the engineers, the people in marketing and advertising my thought on the product and feel like I’m actually making a difference.  …the things that I want to see changed in the product don’t’ fall on deaf ears.”  Antuan Goodwin (CNET.com)
